Deck or surface lot?
If the car is parked at City Springs, say whether you used the deck or an outdoor lot. Include the level, any marked area and the entrance you used. The city's directions distinguish access from Mount Vernon Highway and Sandy Springs Circle; a broad 'at the green' leaves the parked position unclear.
What happened to the key?
A key locked inside is different from one that went missing during the outing. Use car access information to describe the first situation, and replacement-key information when the key itself needs discussing. Keep the make, model and year ready; a spare that still works is important information too.
If another person holds a spare, find out whether it can be brought to you. A key that works with the doors may still have a separate starting or remote-button fault. Describe that behavior instead of assuming that every problem needs the same replacement.
Bring the same clarity home
After moving or changing an access arrangement, decide which doors should use the new key. Your own apartment or house entrance may be separate from a shared lobby, gate or parking system. Check who manages shared access before including it in a private-door request.
Our rekeying page explains how a suitable cylinder can use a different key without automatically changing the handle. If the door drags, the latch misses or the key feels rough, mention that separately. A fresh operating key is not a general repair for the whole entrance.
Leave a useful description for the next conversation
At a workplace, note the business and suite, the entrance affected and whether it can currently be secured. If more than one person reports the problem, collect the actual symptoms rather than several guesses about the broken part. 'The key turns but the latch does not move' gives the conversation something concrete.
Business door questions can then focus on the existing hardware and the change you need. Give the business name, suite and full address, since Sandy Springs extends beyond City Springs. Mention a shared entrance or a person who needs to meet at the door when planning the visit.
