The garage has stopped: describe that first
For a private residential garage, say whether the door is fully shut, partway open or visibly uneven. Mention what happened immediately before it stopped and whether the wall control and remote behave differently. Keep people and vehicles clear of a damaged door rather than trying to force it through another cycle.
Residential garage door repair is its own request. Keep it separate from changing the lock on the pedestrian door between the house and garage. Say whether another entrance is available and whether a vehicle is inside, so the practical situation is clear.
One useful house key, several doors
The garage-to-house entrance may use a different key from the front or back door. If reducing the number of keys is the goal, list those entrances and identify the locks that already match. The same brand name or a similar-looking handle is not enough to confirm that one key can operate everything.
Use home locksmith information to organize the request. A move-in or missing household key can also lead to rekeying compatible locks. Keep any stiff latch or damaged handle in the description, because changing the operating key does not repair all door problems.
After a downtown visit
Depot Park is downtown on Cherokee Street, opposite the Southern Museum, with its restored train depot. If a personal car key goes missing after a visit, give the actual lot or street position. Explain whether someone can bring a working spare and whether the key you have is damaged, absent or unresponsive.
The automotive page helps separate vehicle access from making a key. Give the make, model and year when discussing compatibility. If you are planning more than one task at the same property, identify each clearly so the proposed scope does not quietly combine a house lock, car key and garage repair.
